The Renault Triber will be positioned between the Kwid and Duster.
It is expected to be priced between Rs 5 lakh to Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Triber will be offered with a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder BS4-compliant petrol engine.
Renault will offer the Triber with a 5-speed manual gearbox as well as an AMT option.
The Triber will rival the Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai Grand i10 and Ford Figo, among others.
The booking amount has been set at Rs 11,000; it can be booked via Renault’s dealership or website.
