Triumph has expanded its range of Modern Classic by unveiling the 1200cc Speed Twin, a homage to the original Speed Twin from 1938. With the new Speed Twin, the cult British bike manufacturer, which has already captured a reasonable chunk of the sub-1000cc retro modern motorcycle segment, looks to make a more pronounced impact in the 1000+cc segment. Currently, this category has very few competitors, including the BMW R NineT and the Honda CB 1100EX. While Triumph has announced that it will reveal the prices of the new motorcycle for various international markets on January 18, we expect the Speed Twin to make its way to our shores by mid-2019. When launched, it is likely to command a price tag of around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Now let’s see what this motorcycle is all about:
