Bronson explores the lives and minds of apparently common people trying to script the stories of their own lives.
These are not all uplifting tales. Bronson offers no ready-to-serve chicken soup for the soul. Many of his subjects remain confused, with no happy ending in sight. It’s not an inspirational book, nor about careers and jobs, but one that makes the reader contemplate the choices he has made, both in professional and personal life. There are no pat answers, only the question: "What is freedom for, if not the chance to define for yourself who you are?"
