Thenovel, set 20 years in the future, first made news when Ruchir's agent David Godwinsold UK rights to HarperCollins for a whopping £80,000. But now that he has finally gotthe manuscript out, a battle of sorts has broken out between the writer and his Indianpublisher, Indiaink. Indiaink thinks the novel could do with some editing. His UKpublisher, on the other hand, is in a hurry to bring it out. Good or bad, only time andthe reader can judge.
