Bond With The Crest

Retro revivals seem to be the season's flavour. After Random House's relaunching Anita Desai, HarperCollins is repackaging Nayantara Sahgal in its Harper Perennials series, alongside Mulk Raj Anand and Kamala Das. Meanwhile, Penguin's latest retro offering is 'The 007 Collection', with 14 of Ian Fleming's James Bond titles in a dazzling crimson boxed set, irresistibly priced at Rs 995.

Titular Heads
One shouldn't judge a book by its cover or its title, but some titles are truly misleading. My Frozen Turbulence in Kashmir, for example, would have been more apt for a book about bull-breeding from frozen sperm in the Valley. Readers can send in other examples of way-off titles.
