The film is based on the happenings of the current society and involves family, culture and artistic work flavours. Actually, it can also be said that the film Mavu Bevu has a close link with the 80s era. Because in the 80s, a music album titled Mavu Bevu which had a melange of songs featuring popular singers C Ashwath, L Vaidyanathan and SP Balasubramaniam was released. That is beautifully linked with this film in an artistic way and thus the movie is titled Mavu Bevu.

Mavu Bevu which is produced by Sri Sai Gagan Productions and backed by Rajashekar, also sees Deepak Paramashivan in a brief role, but more importantly he has scored the music for the film. It’s indeed a proud moment for the film’s team to be screened at the film festival.
