A powerful 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck several parts of Pakistan on Sunday, causing panic and prompting residents to evacuate their homes. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the earthquake originated at the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region with an epicenter depth of 223km, which mitigated its destructive impact. Tremors were felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
