Russia is emerging from the shock of mutiny by Yevgeny Prigozhin-led Wagner Group. The months-long feud between Prigozhin and the Russian defence leadership translated into conflict on the ground last week when Prigozhin mounted a rebellion and captured a Russian military headquarters at Rostov-on-Don and marched to Moscow. While the mutiny ended in a deal without any serious material damage, it showed to the world that Russian President Vladimir Putin does not have absolute control over Russia and the ruling elite.
