Forecast models suggest the potential for a quarter to a half of an inch of rain in parts of the Phoenix metro area, primarily on Thursday night and Friday morning. In northern regions, the snow level is anticipated to hover between 5,000 and 6,000 feet, prompting Winter Weather Advisories for areas like the Mogollon Rim, Kaibab Plateau, White Mountains, and northeastern Arizona until early Saturday morning.
Snowfall predictions range from two to four inches in Flagstaff and similar elevations, with the White Mountains possibly receiving four to eight inches. Winds are also expected to intensify, reaching gusts of 25 mph in the Valley and 30 mph in the high country, potentially leading to blowing snow and reduced visibility. Caution is advised on the roads.
