Chris Evans and Alba Baptista's relationship graph through social media

According to the news making rounds, Chris Evans is said to have married his girlfriend, Alba Baptista. Evans, 42, and Baptista, 26, married on September 9 in Boston, according to reports. The pair, though, has not yet formally announced their engagement. 
The Captain America actor and Baptista made their romance public by posting a picture of themselves on social media after Christmas in 2022. "A look back at 2022," he captioned next to a sweet Instagram video of the couple trying to scare each other as they walked through doors and folded laundry in January. She laughed and said, "I knew it!" before he jumped out at Baptista.
The Warrior Nun star, Alba Baptista, was originally linked to the Marvel actor in 2021 after fans observed that she had followed Evans and several of his family members on Instagram. When the twosome was caught holding hands while out and about in New York City in November 2022, dating speculations began to circulate. "Chris and Alba have gotten serious," a source exclusively reported to a US Weekly in January. 
Prior to Baptista, the Marvel actor was linked to Jessica Biel, Minka Kelly, Lily Collins, and other A-listers. He began a long-term relationship with Gifted co-star Jenny Slate in 2016, but the couple called it quits in February 2017. They briefly reconnected before parting ways permanently in March 2018.

Despite his love life’s ups and downs, Evans has been open about his desire to start a family. "I definitely want kids. I certainly want to start a family. The family only works if it is an extension of the love you have for someone. If you suddenly want the child more than the relationship, you may be on slippery footing," he has told USA Today .
Evans appeared to have been working towards his dream in October 2022, when social media users observed that the jack-o-lanterns he showed in an Instagram story upload were identical to those Baptista's mother used as her profile image.
The 42-year-old actor  made the unexpected decision to deactivate both his Instagram and Twitter accounts on June 29, 2023. He addressed his fans in a touching Instagram story, saying, "Hey everyone. I'm enjoying a summer with less screen time, so I'm taking a break from Twitter and Instagram."
While the pair managed to keep their romance private the majority of the time, they couldn't help but post on Valentine's Day. Finally, fans assumed the couple was engaged in May. Only reports of their marriage confirmed their engagement, the couple has not yet made any announcement.
