iPhone 15 to launch on THIS date; What's in store and why it's exceptional

Apple is set to unveil the iPhone 15 series. This time the tech giant has given major upgrades in the series for all users

Tech giant Apple is expected to unveil its iPhone 15 series on September 12, 2023. However, despite tons of anticipation, users will not be able to see an iPhone 15 Ultra, with extra storage and RAM.

The mega-launch event will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park, California, and will start at 10:00 a.m. PDT. Meanwhile, apart from iPhone 15, the tech giant will also unveil two other Apple products, including two new Apple Watches and an updated AirPods Pro.

How many iPhones will be launched at the mega event?

There will be four models in the iPhone 15 lineup including the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, Pro, and 15 Pro Max. The iPhone 15 will be the base model, followed by the larger 15 Plus. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will come at a higher price point, with the latter featuring a larger screen and enhanced camera capabilities.

When will iPhone 15 pre-orders begin?

iPhone 15 pre-orders will kick-start on September 15, 2023. With that, consumers across the globe can pre-book their favorite model from the lineup.

Major upgrade of USB-C

It is no hidden fact that Apple is all set to fulfill users' wishes by giving a USB-C type charging port. Apart from the USB update, it's expected to be a major upgrade over the iPhone 14, with new features like a 48MP main camera, USB-C connectivity, and a new design. Also, the iPhone 15 is rumored to be powered by a new A17 Bionic chip. This would be a significant upgrade over the A16 Bionic chip in the iPhone 14.

This time, the iPhone 15 is set to come with a combination of radically major upgrades. The iPhone 15 lineup will feature a number of significant upgrades, including radically upgraded processors, significantly more powerful software, the outstanding convenience of USB-C connectivity, show-stopping camera improvements on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, and improved usability for the Apple Watch.
