Justin Timberlake is turning 43 and he is planning to treat his fans with a free concert on the occasion.
In celebration of his 43rd birthday, pop sensation Justin Timberlake has surprised fans with the announcement of another free concert, this time in New York City. The concert is set to take place at Irving Plaza, a ballroom-style music venue in Manhattan, on January 31.
Just a few days Timberlake had treated his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, to a free concert. Fans eager to catch the iconic performer live in New York City have until 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday to request free, non-transferable tickets through Ticketmaster.
While the tickets are complimentary, they are not guaranteed due to the expected high demand. Requesting tickets requires providing billing information, which is necessary for validation, and a temporary $1 authorization fee, instantly refunded upon credit card validation.
Those who sign up will receive notifications by email on January 30, revealing whether they were successful in securing tickets for the birthday concert.
During his Memphis performance, Timberlake confirmed the upcoming release of a new album when he debuted a track called "Selfish." The DJ also played his latest single, "No Angels." This forthcoming album will mark Timberlake's sixth solo venture, following 2018's "Man of the Woods." A video posted on his Instagram account around the time of the Memphis show hinted at the potential title of the upcoming release, "Everything I Thought It Was."
Timberlake is also scheduled to make appearances on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" on Thursday and "Saturday Night Live" on Saturday. The artist also made headlines in 2023 with the reunion of his boy band NSYNC at the MTV Video Music Awards. Following the reunion, NSYNC released their first new song in 20 years, titled "Better Place," featured on the "Trolls Band Together" soundtrack.
