My Pronoun is Ze, What’s Yours, ask the Gen Z in the America

While a part of America is driven to extremes and polarisation is on the rise, the Gen Z is silently ushering the society into a silent revolution based on gender identity. Pronouns can have a big impact on how someone feels about themselves, their identity, and other things. Trying out several pronouns to see which one best describes who you are as a person can be really fulfilling. Pronouns are not related to the LGBTQ community, rather they are simply an expression of one's own identity beyond the gender. Since everyone is free to self-identify, whichever they want. This article is a guide for those who are still unfamiliar with certain pronouns, explaining how to use them and which prominent celebrities use which pronoun. 

He/Him: These are traditional masculine pronouns that are used by individuals who identify as male. The star of RuPaul's Drag Race, Bob the Drag Queen uses he/she pronouns. He confirmed his pronouns while replying to a fan on Twitter.

She/Her: These are traditional feminine pronouns used by individuals who identify as female. Ruby Rose stated that she/her is her preferred pronoun on her instagram page.

They/Them: This is a gender-neutral pronoun that has become increasingly popular for individuals who don't identify strictly as male or female. "They" can be used as both a singular and plural pronoun. Singer Demi Lovato and Janelle Monae use this pronoun. Singer Lovato revealed it while introducing her new podcast, 4D with Demi Lovato in 2021. 

Ze/Hir: These are gender-neutral pronouns that some individuals use instead of "he/she" and "his/her." For example, "ze went to the store, and I gave hir the book." According to the pronouns listed on Instagram, Ezra Miller goes by ze/they/its/.

Xe/Xem: These are another set of gender-neutral pronouns that some people use to replace "he/she" and "him/her." For example, "Xe is my friend, and I went to the movies with xem." 

She/They and He/They: Some individuals prefer to use a combination of pronouns to reflect both their gender identity and a gender-neutral option. For instance, someone might use "she/they" or "he/they." Artists like Janelle Monae use she/they while on Ben Levi Ross's Instagram page, their pronouns are listed as he/they.

Neo-Pronouns: Some individuals create their own custom pronouns that align with their unique gender identities. These can include combinations of letters, sounds, or words that feel right to them. Though it can be used by anyone, they are mostly used by transgender, non-binary.
