Taylor Swift brings back "Maroon" for Mexico City show

Taylor Swift performed the Midnights song “Maroon” a third time in Mexico City, Mexico, on August 27

Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour is ongoing, and just as fans had hoped, Taylor has confirmed that she will play surprise songs every single night of the tour. And this time, fans were surprised as the singer performed “Maroon” for the third time in Mexico City on Sunday, August 27.
Taylor fans have known for a while that she always adds a special song to her set list when she goes on tour. The custom goes all the way back to The Red Tour. If you count the surprise covers she did during the Speak Now World Tour, it goes even further back. The surprise songs are back and back again now that the tour has begun. There are already 45 songs on the list, and she has almost 200 songs to choose from for the surprise spots.
Fans who went to the first Eras Tour show in Glendale, Arizona, say that Taylor hinted that she would only play each surprise song once, unless she messed it up. But to her surprise, she played the "Midnights" track “Maroon” for the third time on August 27 in Mexico City.
Taylor performed “Maroon” for the first time on the Eras tour on May 26 in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with the second surprise song for that day being “Getaway Car” with Jack Antonoff. The second performance for this Midnights song was on August 3 in Los Angeles, California, with the second surprise song for that day being “I Can See You.”
Apart from that, Taylor played “Snow On The Beach” twice on March 24 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and on August 25 in Mexico City, Mexico. While “You're On Your Own Kid” was played three times on April 14th in Tampa, Florida, the second time on August 5 in Los Angeles, California, and on August 26 in Mexico City, Mexico.
So far, Taylor has added 106 more songs from her own albums as surprise songs. With the release of Speak Now (Taylor's Version), it's also possible that she will add more of these songs to her main act in the future.
