Taylor Swift extends The Eras Tour; adds 3 US cities, 1 Canadian city

August 9 marks the end of the Eras Tour in Los Angeles. The singer will next be touring Mexico, Buenos Aires, Rio and finish the 2023 leg of The Eras Tour in Sao Paulo.

Mega pop star Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has been a massive success. The All Too Well singer will be playing her last show in Los Angeles today (August 9).  But, she will next be touring in Foro Sol, Mexico City; River Plate Stadium, Buenos Aires; Estadio Nilton Santos, Rio de Janeiro; and Alliance Park, Sao Paulo as her last concerts of the 2023 Eras Tour. She will continue the concert tour starting from Singapore National Stadium, Singapore in March 2024.

The Eras Tour 2024 extension: Miami, New Orleans, Indianapolis, Toronto

To many fans’ dismay or Swifties, as Taylor Swift fans like to call themselves, the singer was also disheartened for being unable to tour more cities. But, true to her Reputation, she has caught Swifties off-guard by adding US and Canadian cities to her 2024 Eras Tour. Miami, New Orleans, Indianapolis, and Toronto are the cities that will get to witness the superstar once again next year.

Surprising Swifties in LA concert

Taylor Swift is known to be very considerate of her fans since the beginning of her career. Every Taylor Swift concert-goer seems to share an out-of-the-world experience which only strengthens her fan base. On the opening night of her LA concert, the singer amazed her fans with the first-ever live performance of I Can See You, a recently released vault track from her re-recording of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version). The song also has a music video boasting 22 million views and features Taylor Lautner, Joey King, and Presley Cash. 

Celebrities who graced the LA concert 

The six-day running concert in LA featured a plethora of celebrities. Some danced, and most posted stories on their social media accounts, but clearly, all of them present had the time of their lives. Among the familiar faces were Vanessa Bryant, Brie Larson, Alicia Keys, Lupita Nyong'o, Amy Adams, Gayle King, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Sofia Vergara, Mindy Kaling, James Marsden, Emma Roberts, Channing Tatum, etc.

The singer-songwriter describes her sixth concert tour, The Eras Tour as a journey through each of her musical “eras”. It can be considered a compilation of her 10 recorded studio albums namely, Taylor Swift (2006), Fearless (2008), Speak Now (2010), Red (2012), 1989 (2014), Reputation (2017), Lover (2019), Folklore (2020), Evermore (2020), Midnights (2022).
