A new study conducted by Sweden on the effect of two different vaccines on the same person has once again put the focus on the effectiveness of mixing and matching Covid-19 vaccines. The results of the nationwide study showed that people who received the first dose of the Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine followed by a shot of the mRNA vaccine exhibited a lower risk of infection as opposed to those who had been administered both doses of the vector-based AstraZeneca shot.
