The large majority of us perceive the National Cadet Corps (NCC) to be a decorative formation without a specific purpose save parading schoolchildren in uniform on Republic Day in the Capital. While that assessment of the NCC may not be entirely accurate, to most students it's just another chore they have to put up with. It was the same for students in Sagar.
