Naked Diplomacy

The world was never obliged to run out of wonders number seven onwards, and stuck as they are to the North Pole, Finns are unusually anxious to advertise their wonders, just to get noticed. Which made them proud of those ships parked just outside the foreign office, featured in a German television series among the new wonders of the world. It was a fleet of ships they call the ice-breakers. Through the cold winters they bash through polar ice to clear the way for a convoy of ships to keep Finns supplied up north in Lapland, a place not remotely as exciting as the name suggests. When the ice is too heavy to ram through, the ships rear up and come crashing down on top of it. Outside the sauna too, Finns work pretty hard at breaking the ice.
