Amidst a backdrop of grandeur and spiritual significance, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan unveiled a 108-foot-tall statue of Hindu saint Adi Shankaracharya, known as 'Ekatmata Ki Pratima' (Statue of Oneness), during a solemn ceremony in Omkareshwar, Khandwa district. The unveiling of the statue comes at the time when the ruling BJP has been attacking Udhaynidhi Stalin for his statement on Sanatan Dharma and bringing it up at several rallies in the poll-bound state. According to Hindu religion scholars, Adi Shankaracharya, is often credited with restoring the glory of Sanatan Dharma in ancient India.
