All-Inclusive Budget To Play An Important Role In Building Atma Nirbhar Madhya Pradesh :CM Chouhan

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that suggestions were also invited from the public for the budget, in which more than 4 thousand suggestions were received.

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the state's budget for the financial year 2023-24 is a budget for the welfare of every section of the society. Poor-welfare is our resolution. We are committed for the upliftment of mother, sister and daughter. Increasing the income of farmers is our top priority. All these points have been taken care of in this budget. This all-inclusive and all-touching budget is truly a people's budget. This budget will play an important role in building a self-reliant Madhya Pradesh to fulfill Prime Minister Shri Modi's resolve to build a self-reliant India and Madhya Pradesh will play its part in building a glorious, prosperous and powerful India as per the dreams of the Prime Minister. Will make invaluable contribution. This is the budget for raining nectar of development and prosperity in Amrit Kaal. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan congratulated Finance Minister Shri Jagdish Deora and his team for this wonderful and unimaginable budget. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was discussing with media representatives in the assembly premises after the presentation of the state budget.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that suggestions were also invited from the public for the budget, in which more than 4 thousand suggestions were received. Prime Minister Shri Modi has taken a pledge to change the lives of the people. This is the budget to fulfill that resolution, it will instill new hope and confidence.
Budget is a historic step towards women's welfare

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a provision of Rs 56 thousand 256 crore has been made for infrastructure in the balanced budget, which is 15 percent more than the previous budget. Along with this, provisions focused on public welfare and betterment of women are also contained in the budget. Provision of one lakh 02 thousand 976 crore rupees for the betterment of mother-sister and daughter, this is a historic step in the direction of women's welfare. Provision has also been made to pay the interest of the loan along with the provision of providing loan from the bank to Ladli Lakshmi, Kanya Vivah Nikah, Prasuti Sahayata, Gaon Ki Beti Yojana and women self-help groups.

Big skill centers in Gwalior, Jabalpur, Sagar and Rewa will be helpful in skill upgradation of youth

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that provision of Rs 1000 crore for Chief Minister Skill Apprenticeship Scheme in the budget will benefit one lakh youth. The recruitment process is going on for more than one lakh posts for employment. Along with this, adequate provision has been made in the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyam Kranti Yojana for self-employment. Sant Ravidas Global Skill Park is being set up in Bhopal to upgrade the skills of the youth. Big skill centers will also be set up in Gwalior, Jabalpur, Sagar and Rewa. Mukhyamantri Balika Scooty Yojana is being started in the state. e-scooty will be provided by the state government to the girl who gets first position in class 12th in government school.

Budget will help in making farming a profitable business

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a provision of Rs 53 thousand 964 crore has been made in the budget for farmers and agriculture. A provision of Rs 2,500 crore has been made to pay the interest of cooperative societies of defaulter farmers by the state government. A grant of Rs.6000 is being made available to the farmers on behalf of Prime Minister Shri Modi and Rs.4000 on behalf of the state government. A provision of Rs 3 thousand 200 crore has been made in the Chief Minister's Farmers Welfare Scheme. A separate provision has been made for providing loans at zero percent interest. Adequate provision has been made for 2 thousand crores for crop insurance scheme, 13 thousand crores for subsidy on electricity bills and in all other schemes run for farmers. This will help in making farming a profitable business.

Special provisions for Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, freed Nomadic, Semi-nomadic communities

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a provision of Rs 36 thousand 950 crore has been made for tribal welfare, which is 37 percent more than last year. In this, a provision of Rs 50 crore has also been made for sickle cell mission. A provision of Rs 26 thousand 87 crore has also been made for the Scheduled Tribes. Special provision has been made in the budget for backward class, nomadic, freed, semi-nomadic community.

Special arrangements in the budget to improve the quality of education

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a provision of Rs 38 thousand 375 crore has been made on education, which is Rs 5 thousand 532 crore more than last year. For high quality education, a provision of Rs 277 crore has been made for CM Rise schools and state share of PMShri scheme. This will help in improving the quality of education.

Sports budget increased three times

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the players of the state are performing better in the sports field. Madhya Pradesh has acquired third position in the Khelo India Youth Games. The sports budget has been increased three times, in which a provision of Rs 738 crore has been made.

Arrangement of adequate amount for new medical college buildings

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a provision of Rs 16 thousand 55 crore has been made for better facilities in the health sector. Out of this, Rs 953 crore has been given for Ayushman Bharat and adequate amount has also been given for the construction of new medical college buildings.

Special arrangement for road, irrigation and electricity

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a provision of Rs 10 thousand 182 crore has been made for roads, in which the amount for construction and maintenance of bridges is also included. We have to take the irrigation potential up to 65 lakh hectares, for this a provision of Rs 11 thousand 49 crore has been made. A provision of Rs 18 thousand 302 crore has been made to fix the infrastructure of electricity.

Our aim is to fulfill the dream of a house by providing a pucca roof to every poor

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that adequate provision has been made in the budget for the development of villages, Gramodaya and Nagrodaya. There is a provision of Rs 24 thousand 443 crore for rural development and Rs 08 thousand crore for Prime Minister's residence. Our aim is to fulfill the dream of a house by providing a pucca roof to every poor. A provision of Rs 14 thousand 882 crore has been made for the cities. There is a provision of Rs 3 thousand 83 crore for rural infrastructure.

Social Impact Bonds will prove to be an innovative initiative of the state government

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that taking an innovative initiative, the state government has decided to issue Social Impact Bonds. Institutional arrangements will be made for women, sisters, children, senior citizens, disabled, destitute and welfare sisters. Women training centers, de-addiction centers, mental disabled welfare, rehabilitation centers will be established along with arrangements to create employment opportunities for them. In this direction, Social Impact Bonds of about Rs 1000 crore will be issued to work together with reputed social organizations working at national and international level in the field of social importance. For this, an outcome fund of Rs 100 crore has been created.

Along with infrastructure and public welfare, life values, traditions,this budget will be helpful in the conservation and promotion of culture

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that along with infrastructure and public welfare, the state government is committed to encourage life values, traditions and culture. In this sequence, a provision of about Rs 358 crore has also been made for projects like Sant Ravidas ji's memorial in Sagar, Shri Ramraja Lok in Orchha, Divya Vanvasi Ramlok in Chitrakoot and Devi Mahalok in Salkanpur. Kala Gram in Bharat Bhavan, Dr. Hedgewar's Museum in Rampayali, Hindi Bhavan in Gwalior and former Prime Minister Late. Provision has been made for the memorial of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that pilgrimage will now be done by aeroplane. Necessary provision has been made for this. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that this budget will make an important contribution in making Madhya Pradesh a $550 billion economy to fulfill Prime Minister Shri Modi's resolve to make India a $5 trillion economy.
