Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the Opposition, accusing them of corruption and alleging that 21 parties have joined forces to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister. Speaking at a public meeting in Udaipur, Rajasthan, Shah questioned the credibility of the gathering, stating, "These 21 parties, those who do corruption of 21 lakhs, they are together to make Rahul Baba the Prime Minister."
Challenging the Opposition, Shah claimed that none of them could level a single corruption allegation against the Narendra Modi government. He warned that if Rahul Gandhi were to become Prime Minister, corruption would become India's destiny, while reiterating that under Modi's leadership, those involved in corruption would be held accountable. Shah further criticized the objectives of various leaders, highlighting their focus on securing positions for their sons, including Sonia Gandhi aiming to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister, Lalu Prasad Yadav aspiring for his son Tejashwi to hold the same position, Mamata Banerjee seeking to promote her nephew Abhishek, Stalin hoping his son Udhayanidhi becomes chief minister, and Gehlot's ambition for his son Vaibhav.
Shah emphasized the need for the Indian public to decide whether they would vote for individuals working for personal gains or for someone dedicated to the welfare of the country. He expressed confidence that the BJP would achieve remarkable success in 2024 and form the government with a significant majority, projecting Narendra Modi's return as Prime Minister in 2024 with 300 seats, according to Indian Express.
Addressing the achievements of the Modi government's welfare schemes, Shah praised the empowerment of tribal communities, specifically highlighting Droupadi Murmu, a tribal woman from a humble background who held the position of Governor. He also accused the previous UPA government of failing to effectively address terrorism, contrasting it with Modi's tenure during which surgical strikes and air strikes were conducted in response to incidents like the Uri and Pulwama attacks.
In his speech, Shah responded to Rahul Gandhi's warnings about removing Article 370, asserting that rivers of blood did not flow and the country remained secure and developed under Modi's leadership. He credited the Modi government with ensuring national security and progress over the past nine years.
