Asaduddin Owaisi, the President of AIMIM, has called for a special session of Parliament to address critical issues concerning India's border situation with China. Owaisi emphasized the urgency of discussing China's encroachment on approximately 2,000 square kilometers of Indian territory, highlighting losses in areas like Depsang and Demchok. He pointed out that India's ability to patrol border areas effectively has been compromised, raising concerns about national security.
In addition to the border dispute, Owaisi also urged the NDA government to breach the 50 percent limit on reservations during the special session. He noted that the Rohini Commission, responsible for OBC sub-categorization, has submitted its report, indicating a need for further discussions on reservation policies, PTI reported.
