Beauticians As Changemakers

Beauticians emerge as influencers in creating awareness on sexual and reproductive health and rights as well as providers of contraceptive to Dalit and tribal girls and women in Sheikhpura, 160 Km from the state capital, Patna, in Bihar, under a novel initiative of UNFPA and Plan India. Interactions with beauticians, ASHA workers, social workers and beneficiaries capture the impact of the change:
