In an untoward incident, an autorickshaw driver in Bengaluru stabbed his passenger to death after a dispute over fare while the brother of the deceased also sustained injuries.
It has been reported that both the passengers took an auto from the Majestic to Yeshwantpur railway station. The situation intensified when they reached the destination and the auto driver demanded more fare.

The deceased has been identified as Ahmed, while his brother has been identified as Ayub.
As per media reports, the driver has been arrested.
During the investigation, the police found that there were other pending cases against the accused in Hassan district.
It has been reported that the incident took place when both passengers took an auto from the Majestic to Yeshwantpur railway station.
The situation intensified when they reached the destination and the auto driver demanded more fare.
It began with a quarrel followed by an assault before the passengers were stabbed.
While Ahmed died on the way to hospital, his brother Ayub is in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a hospital with severe injuries.
