In celebration of the completion of nine years of the Modi government at the Centre, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a month-long 'Maha Jansampark Abhiyan' in Rajasthan. The campaign aims to reach out to villages in the state with the message of service, good governance, and the welfare of the poor, as stated by the party's state president, CP Joshi, on Friday.
Under the 'Maha Jansampark Abhiyan', clusters of Lok Sabha constituencies have been formed, with each cluster consisting of four Lok Sabha seats. To ensure effective communication, two senior BJP leaders will embark on an eight-day visit to each cluster. During their visits, the leaders will engage in dialogues with various groups, including beneficiaries of Central government schemes, businessmen, and intellectuals.
Highlighting the significance of upcoming events, Joshi mentioned that on June 23, World Yoga Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will communicate with the people of the country. Furthermore, on June 25, following the 'Mann Ki Baat' program, a seminar on the 1975 Emergency will be organized.
While addressing the gathering, Joshi took aim at the Ashok Gehlot-led state government, accusing it of failing to carry out any significant development work in the state. He alleged that the Congress-led government merely rebranded the schemes introduced by the Central government and presented them as its own. Joshi also criticized the high fuel prices in Rajasthan, claiming that the chief minister has taken no steps to provide relief to the people.
In response to the allegations, Joshi stated, "After looting the public for four and a half years, when Gehlot remembered the public, he set up inflation relief camps."
