The BJP's state unit CP Joshi mocked the Congress government in Rajasthan on Monday, stating that the people of Rajasthan have decided to relieve the government forever. Joshi criticized the government for organizing inflation relief camps and highlighted issues of crime, paper leaks, and alleged corruption, while targeting the government's appeasement policy following recent clashes between communities in Tonk's Malpura.
The people of Rajasthan have decided to relieve the Congress government forever, the BJP's state unit CP Joshi said on Monday, mocking the current regime for organising inflation relief camps in the state. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Monday launched his government's flagship initiative 'Mehangai Rahat' camps and appealed to the people to "repeat" his government in order to further strengthen public welfare schemes.
Joshi, however, said Rajasthan has become number one in crime and paper leaks and the government does not have any answer. Referring to the recent arrest of Rajasthan Public Service Commission member Babulal Katara in a paper leak case, Joshi said corrupt people were made members and the institution's sanctity was harmed.
"Today, the state's youths feel cheated. The government has broken the dreams of the youths," he told reporters at the party office here. Joshi also targeted the state government over clashes between two communities in Tonk's Malpura on Sunday, saying it was a clear reflection of the government's appeasement policy.
