Canadian PM Justin Trudeau's India Stay Extended As Plane Encounters Technical Glitch

The flight, originally scheduled for 8 pm, faced this unexpected delay. It's worth noting that this is not the first time that an Airbus aircraft has caused issues for Trudeau and his delegation during official travel.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his delegation will extend their stay in India, the host country for this year's G20 summit, due to a technical issue with their plane. The departure for the airport was interrupted when the Canadian Armed Forces informed them about the technical problems with CFC001, PTI reported.

According to a statement from the Canadian Prime Minister's Office, "Upon our departure for the airport, we were made aware by the Canadian Armed Forces that CFC001 was experiencing technical issues. These issues are not fixable overnight, our delegation will be staying in India until alternate arrangements are made."

The flight, originally scheduled for 8 pm, faced this unexpected delay. It's worth noting that this is not the first time that an Airbus aircraft has caused issues for Trudeau and his delegation during official travel. Trudeau had arrived in the national capital on Friday to attend the G20 Summit, which concluded on Sunday.
