As anticipation builds, participants from around the world have started arriving at the Buddh International Circuit for the first-ever Moto GP event in India. To prepare for the thrilling races, participants engaged in intensive training sessions on Thursday. Notably, this event will witness the participation of representatives from approximately 275 renowned companies, including Red Bull, Shell, B-Win, BMW, Oakley, Monster, Motul, Tissot, Repsol, Polini, GoPro, Honda, Michelin, Amazon, DHL, and Petronas.
MotoGP boasts a global fan base and enjoys substantial backing from major international brands. Its economic impact on host countries is well-documented, and the sport holds a significant presence in India and much of Asia. Furthermore, MotoGP's commitment to sustainable technologies and social initiatives, such as road safety programs, is a testament to its positive influence.
This global racing extravaganza is expected to engage a staggering 1.5 lakh people each day, with 10,000 participants coming from foreign countries to join the excitement at the Buddh International Circuit. The event's reach extends to 200 countries through broadcasting, and tickets are available at prices ranging from Rs 800 to Rs 1.80 lakh.
Over the course of three action-packed days, a total of 20 different racing events will unfold, culminating in the main event on September 24. With 11 teams in contention, racing enthusiasts from across the globe are flocking to Noida to witness the adrenaline-fueled spectacle. An estimated 45 crores viewers worldwide are expected to tune in to the event.
MotoGP India will showcase the talents of renowned champions and world number one riders, including Francisco Bagnaia (Ducati), Enea Bastianini (Ducati), Brad Binder (Red Bull), Jack Miller (Red Bull), Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia), Maverick Vinales (Aprilia), Johann Zarco (Pramac), Jorge Martin (Pramac), and many others.
The schedule for Moto GP India is action-packed, with a practice session on Friday spanning from 9:30 am to 4 pm across various categories. Saturday brings not only more practice but also qualifying rounds and a thrilling 12-lap MotoGP Tissot Sprint. Finally, Sunday is the day for the main races, featuring the Moto-3, Moto-2, and MotoGP categories, following the warm-up sessions.
