Heavy rains lashing Delhi and other parts of the National Capital Region (NCR) for the second consecutive day on Thursday affected traffic movements on key roads and left many areas waterlogged.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a 'yellow alert', cautioning people about moderate rain at most places in the city on Friday.
Predicting heavy rainfall till Friday, most private schools (up to class 8) in Noida and Gurugram have asked to remain closed till Friday.
The Palam Observatory reported heavy rain -- 81 mm between 8:30 am and 8:30 pm.
