Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) on Saturday morning woke up with a fresh spell of heavy rain which brought down the temperature to 25 degrees Celsius.
According to the India Meteorological Department, isolated heavy to very heavy rain is expected in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi till July 29.

It has been reported that the heavy downpour accompanied with thunderstorms and lightning also led to severe waterlogging and traffic disruptions in several areas
1. According to the India Meteorological Department, isolated heavy to very heavy rain is expected in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi till July 29.
“Light/moderate fairly widespread to widespread rainfall with isolated heavy rainfall is very likely over Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi on July 28-29,” the IMD predicted.
2. Several parts of Delhi including Civil Lines, Laxmi Nagar and Lajpat Nagar received light to moderate rainfall on Friday while Jasola and Okhla, saw overcast skies.
3. The minimum temperature was recorded at 26.6 degrees Celsius. The weather department, on Friday, predicted light to moderate rainfall for Saturday.
