An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter Scale jolted Bihar early on Wednesday while another quake of similar intensity struck West Bengal's Siliguri at the same time, reported the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
In Bihar the tremors were felt in Araria at around 5.35 am today while in Bengal, the tremors were felt at 140 kilometres southwest of Siliguri. In both the incidents, so far there have been no reports of any casualty or damage.

According to the NCS, in Bihar the tremors were felt in Araria, at around 5.35 am today.
The depth of the earthquake was 10 km, it said.
There were no reports of any damage to property or loss of life due to the earthquake.
In Siliguri, the tremors struck 140 kilometres southwest of Siliguri.
The NCS said the earthquake occurred at 5:35 am IST on Wednesday.
No damage was reported.
