The National Conference (NC) and the Congress alliance on Tuesday emerged victorious in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly election by bagging 48 out of the 90 assembly seats. As per a new contentious rule, five more will be nominated by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
