A fire broke out in the endoscopy room on the second floor of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi on Monday.
Information regarding the fire at AIIMS Delhi was received at around 11.54 am, following which six fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

Sources told PTI that the fire has been controlled and no casualties were reported.

Sources told PTI all the patients in the endoscopy room were evacuated safely.
Visuals shared by ANI showed black smoke rising in the sky from the window.
The endoscopy room at AIIMS Delhi is located above the emergency ward on the second floor of the Old OPD, according to PTI.
Following the incident, the emergency ward has been closed and patients are being asked to go to Safdarjung Hospital, reported NDTV.
"The fire broke out on the second floor of the Old Raj Kumari OPD Building. It was brought under control by firefighters, but the search operation is still ongoing," NDTV quoted the Fire Department as saying.
