In two separate incidents, an Army jawan died of a heart attack while playing cricket in MP's Tikamgarh and a man playing Hanuman at a 'Ramlila' in Haryana passed away after collapsing in the middle of the act
An Indian Army personnel died of a heart attack while playing cricket on his leave in Marguva village of Madhya Pradesh's Tikamgarh district, an official said on Tuesday. In another incident, a man playing Lord Hanuman at a 'Ramlila' in Haryana passed away after collapsing in the middle of the act on Monday.
The Army personnel, aged 35, was identified as Lance Naik Vinod Banskar. Dr Yogesh Yadav of the district hospital confirmed the death was caused by a heart attack.
Banskar had gone to play cricket in neighbouring village Birau on Sunday afternoon, where he complained of chest pain, his elder brother Jagdish Banskar said. His family members then took him to Tikamgarh's district hospital, where he died later that night, Jagdish said.
Lance Naik Vinod Banskar was posted in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur and was on leave. He was scheduled to return in the first week of February, his brother said.
In the other incident, a man dressed as Hanuman died after suffering a heart attack in the middle of a performance in a Ramlila in Haryana's Bhiwani on Monday. The Ramlila was organised to mark the inauguration of Ram Temple in UP's Ayodhya.
A video of the incident surfaced on social media, showing the deceased, Harish Mehta, dancing dressed as Lord Hanuman at the event.

Harish Mehta fell on the floor in the middle of the act, which people thought was part of the act and didn't immediately come to his rescue. Only after Mehta was unresponsive for over a minute, people realised it was a medical emergency.
