The Congress had been awaiting the results of assembly elections in five states — Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram — before settling on further strategy plans.
Vote counting for the elections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana commenced at 8 am on Sunday, while the Mizoram assembly election results will be unveiled on Monday.
