Amid continuing tensions with China regarding following the eastern Ladakh standoff, India has deployed upgraded L70 anti-aircraft guns in the high mountains of Arunachal Pradesh to bolster its military presence and firepower in the face of China. The deployment has been made along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the state in addition to its existing Swedish Bofors guns and the ultralight M-777 howitzers that were inducted just months back.
