Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain, who has been recovering at home after fighting off Covid-19 infection, will resume work from Monday.
Satyendar Jain was discharged from hospital last month after he was treated for Covid-19 infection and eventually tested negative. He has been recovering at home.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal welcomed Jain back on Twitter. “Our Health Minister Satinder Jain has recovered. He will join work from today. He was always on the field visiting hospitals and meeting health workers and patients. He contracted corona. After one month, he joins back today. Welcome back Satinder and best wishes!” Kejriwal tweeted.
Jain has recovered from the Coronavirus infection and was discharged from hospital on June 26.
Days after being discharged, Jain tweeted saying he was recovering at home. He said, "With good wishes of everyone I am recovering at home now. Plasma bank announcement by Hon'ble CM @ArvindKejriwal is a revolutionary step. Plasma therapy saved my life from Corona virus and I pledge to donate my plasma as soon as medical protocols will allow."
The health minister had tested positive after developing symptoms of coronavirus, including high fever and breathing difficulty.
The 55-year-old leader's health had deteriorated after he developed pneumonia during the treatment for COVID-19 at the Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality hospital. He was then shifted to the Max hospital and administered plasma therapy.
Jain's health condition improved after receiving the plasma therapy, doctors treating him in Max hospital had said.
