Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Tuesday said the Centre’s team headed by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) had returned from Kerala and submitted its report, which mentions low vaccinations and strained healthcare infrastructure as problem points amid rising Covid cases in the state. In its report to the Union health ministry, the team said contact tracing of COVID-19 patients in the state is low, home isolation guidelines are not being followed and the number of tests conducted to detect the infection is showing a downward trend.
