Delhi’s red light area, is the famous GB Road, located in the crowded area of Old Delhi. For years the area has functioned close to a police station. The Delhi Commission of Women is now trying to identify the owners of these brothels so that they can move towards demolishing them. But problems remain- Delhi has not rolled out a rehabilitation scheme for these women even though the Supreme Court has asked for this.
