Former JNU student union president, Kanhaiya Kumar, was heckled by ABVP and HYV(Hindu Yuva Vahini) members on Friday during the three-day Literary festival in Lucknow.
The incident took place at Sheroes cafe, a cafeteria run by acid victims, where Kanhaiya was invited for a discussion session on his book " From Bihar to Tihar". However, before the event could even start, members of ABVP and HYV raised anti-Kanhaiya slogans and called him a "traitor".
Subsequently, a scuffle took place between ABVP-HYU and Samajwadi Party student wing members while members of the former attempted to reach the stage, reported DNA.

They were later granted bail in the case in which charge sheet has not yet been filed.
