As the state awaits poll results today, Bengaluru city police announced traffic modifications for different parts of the city during the vote counting for the Karnataka Assembly Polls.
According to the officials, Section 144 will be imposed in the entire district from 6 am on Saturday to 12 am on Sunday in order to avoid any untoward incident on the day of counting of votes.

Vote counting will commence on Saturday morning by 8 am.
Bengaluru Police have imposed parking prohibitions in and around the counting centres and vehicles are not allowed to park in the vicinity of the counting centres.
Bengaluru traffic police said in a tweet, "In view of counting of votes in the following centres traffic restrictions have been imposed and parking is prohibited in and around counting centres,"

As per media reports, there will also be a ban on liquor sale in the Bengaluru police commissionerate region. Furthermore, in addition to the precautionary measures, the armed forces will be kept on alert from the morning of May 13 till the morning of May 14.
