The weather conditions are likely to stay cloudy for the rest of the day with rains and thunderstorms in parts of Delhi till late evening. The air quality in Delhi was recorded in the "severe" category on Thursday at 437, worsening from 426 on Wednesday. An AQI between 0-50 is considered "good", 51-100 "satisfactory", 101-200 "moderate", 201-300 "poor", 301-400 "very poor" and 401-500 "severe"
The marginal improvement in AQI comes after six days of worsening air pollution in the national capital, forcing the Delhi government to reschedule the December winter break of all schools, which is now from November 9 to November 18. The Supreme Court today will review the effectiveness odd-even car rationing scheme and issue an order regarding the same. The scheme is expected to be enforced between November 13 and November 20.
