'I want to assure the people of India that the accused will not be spared. What has happened to daughters of Manipur can never be forgiven', said PM Modi ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament.

After the whole nation strongly criticised the horrible video which emerged on social media on Wednesday where two Kuki women were seen being paraded naked, prime minister Narendra Modi today said, "The incident of Manipur has put 140 crore Indians to shame.'

"I want to assure the people of India that the accused will not be spared," said PM Modi ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament.

"What has happened to daughters of Manipur can never be forgiven, guilty will not be spared", he added.

"Law will act with its full might", asserted PM Modi.

In light of the similar incident, it has been reported that Home Minister Amit Shah has also spoken to Manipur CM N Biren Singh.
