Female voters in Mizoram have outpaced their male counterparts in the recently held assembly election, as per data from the Chief Electoral Officer Office, Mizoram. The voter turnout for women stands at 81.25 percent, slightly higher than the 80.04 percent recorded for male voters. Overall, a commendable 80.66 percent of the total 8.52 lakh voters in the state exercised their right to vote, shaping the electoral destiny of 174 candidates, as reported by ANI.
