Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence 7-Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi where the two leaders discussed several matters related to the public welfare of the state.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be inaugurating the Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas, which will be held at Indore from 8-10 January 2023 after a gap of two years, announced the Chief Minister. He has been requested to virtually address the Global Investors Summit, said a statement.

Chouhan met Prime Minister Narendra ahead of next year’s key meetings of G-20, Khelo India Youth Games, Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas and Global investors summit in the state.
Representatives of more than 80 countries will be attending the three-day programme of Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan to be held in Indore on January 8, 9 and 10, 2023. Several ministers, diplomats, industrialists and delegations from about 68 countries including the President of Guyana and Suriname will participate in the Global Investors Summit.
During his meeting, Chouhan apprised Prime Minister about the PESA Act implemented in the state. Chouhan apprised the Prime Minister about the natural farming being done by 53 thousand farmers of the state.
