This is for the second day in a row that the metropolis reported more than 200 new cases for the second day in a row after witnessing a dip for two days. On Tuesday, the city had reported 220 cases.
The BMC said in its bulletin that the number of recoveries rose to 11,39,790 after 319 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours.
The number of active COVID-19 cases in the city currently stands at 1,591, the civic body said in its bulletin.
Mumbai's recovery rate stood at 98.2 per cent and overall growth rate of the infection cases between April 12 and 18 was 0.0191 per cent.
Mumbai's case doubling rate is 3,547 days, it added.
