The storm brought strong winds and rain to several areas, including Ghatkopar, Bandra Kurla, and Dharavi, causing disruptions to transport services and daily life. Mumbai Airport, one of India's busiest, temporarily suspended landing and takeoff operations due to the storm, with 15 flights diverted.
Metro services were also suspended between Aarey and Andheri East stations after a banner landed on overhead wires due to strong winds, causing a brief delay.
Social media platforms were flooded with images and videos of the storm, with many users welcoming the respite from the scorching summer heat.

The Regional Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for several districts, including Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg, warning of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of up to 40kmph.
The weather department has predicted light rain and thunder showers for Mumbai, while an orange alert has been issued for several other districts, including Pune, Satara, Sangli, Nashik, Kolhapur, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Jalna, and Parbhani, warning of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, gusty winds of up to 60kmph, and hail.
