The Haryana government ordered a partial lifting of the suspension on internet services in Nuh, Faridabad, and Palwal districts and territorial jurisdiction of Sub division Sohna, Pataudi, and Manesar of district Gurugram from 1 pm to 4 pm on Thursday.
According to the order by the Department of Home Affairs, the ban is being lifted in order to facilitate prospective candidates of the CET/Screening Test to download admit cards and necessitate other related tasks.
Earlier, in an order on July 31, the government suspended internet, SMS, and dongle services till August 2 and later, extended it to August 5 in view of the escalating communal violence in Nuh.
