Opposition Bloc INDIA, To Unveil Logo On August 31, In Mumbai

"The logo of INDIA opposition bloc is very inspiring for the citizens of India. It will be unveiled at 7 pm on August 31 when all leaders will arrive for the third joint meeting of the alliance in Mumbai," says Shiv Sena (UBT) leader

Shiv Sena (UBT) Leader Sanjay Raut in a press conference revealed that the logo of the opposition bloc, INDIA, will be unveiled at 7 pm on August 31 at the third meeting of the alliance in Mumbai. "Discussions are on for the same. We are trying to reach out to 140 crore Indians. The logo will symbolise the country, it's unity, and reflect the energy needed to keep the country together,” he added. 

The participants attending the two day conclave in Mumbai will also deliberate on strategic matters like seat sharing in upcoming assembly polls as well as the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, formation of a coordination meeting and the appointment of a convener for the alliance. 

“Around 26 to 27 parties will participate in the meeting. An informal gathering will be held on the evening of August 31 in Mumbai and a formal meeting on September 1. So far, two meetings have been organised so in this third meeting the next agenda will be discussed. We are deciding to make a common logo and it may get unveiled on August 31.” Said Congress Leader Ashok Chavan on Saturday, as reported by ANI. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar stated that a few more political parties were expected to join the 26-party bloc, however, he did not reveal the names of the anticipated entrants, although, Raut had hinted at a possibility of political parties from North East India to take part in the conclave. The Shiv Sena(UBT)leader and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will host dinner for the visiting dignitaries at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on August 31. 

As per sources, for the third meeting, the Congress has been designated to handle media and publicity, the NCP will look after transport, and the Shiv Sena will look into accommodation. The first meeting was hosted in Patna, Bihar while the second was held in Bengaluru, Karnataka, where the Congress has returned to power. The third meeting in Mumbai marks the opposition bloc’s first  meeting in a state where none of the bloc members are in power.
