PM Modi Initiates 11-Day 'Anushthan' Ahead Of Ayodhya's Ram Temple Consecration

Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarks on an 11-day spiritual journey, adhering to intricate rituals, ahead of the historic 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony at Ayodhya's Ram temple on January 22.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shared plans to observe an 11-day anushthan (rituals) preceding the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at Ayodhya's Ram temple on January 22. In a video message on social platform X, he expressed gratitude for the opportunity to represent the people of India during this significant occasion and sought blessings from the public.

Following Hindu shastras' guidelines for deity idol consecration, PM Modi is committed to rigorously following the rituals, despite his demanding schedule. His daily routine includes Brahma Muhurat Jagran, prayers, and a simple diet as part of the fast ahead of the consecration.

The consecration ceremony for the grand Ram temple is scheduled for January 22, with Vedic rituals beginning on January 16. Priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit from Varanasi will perform the main ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony. The event will witness a 1008 Hundi Mahayagya, feeding thousands of devotees.

Ayodhya is gearing up for the ceremony with tent cities to accommodate devotees, and the Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust is making arrangements for 10,000-15,000 people. Local authorities are enhancing security measures and logistical arrangements to ensure a smooth and enriching experience for attendees.
